There’s something undeniably exhilarating about embarking on a long-distance motorcycle tour, especially one that takes you to places you’ve never before visited. The roaring engine beneath you, the open road ahead, and the promise of breathtaking landscapes make for an unforgettable adventure. Our recent trip through Western Europe with Edelweiss Bike Travel was a dream come true for us motorcycle enthusiasts.

Picture yourself navigating winding mountain roads, cruising through vibrant cityscapes, and gliding across serene countryside vistas, and you’ll be just starting to get the idea of what our trip entailed.

Covering 1,564 miles and traveling through seven countries between Barcelona and Munich, there were countless sights, plenty of hairpin turns, incredible cuisine and unmatched camaraderie. Here are a few favorite highlights from the trip.

From the sun-drenched coasts of Spain to the towering peaks of the Alps, every twist and turn of the road offers something new. Our group explored diverse terrains that challenged and thrilled us while rewarding us with awe-inspiring views at every stop.

All that riding worked up our appetites and the food on our trip was definitely some of the most delicious dining some of us have ever experienced! From fresh paella to tasty pastries, we truly ate like kings and queens! Plus, there is nothing like a cold beer and pretzel at the end of a day of riding!

Although there were many memorable moments from this trip, for us, the best part of this experience was spending time on our bikes with our significant others and our friends.
